Job Description

Hourly Rate: $25.66

Schedule: 8 hour rotating shifts (includes working 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift)

The Carton Assembler will:

• Manually load cartons, partitions, and carriers onto magazines of carton assembler, carrier erector, and partition inserter.
• Turn off equipment in case of malfunction and notify supervisor. 
• Inspect and observe cartons, carriers, and partitions for obvious defects and record them on carton quality check sheet. 
• Remove wrap and straps from pallet load, cut bands, and unload cartons and carriers from pallets.
• May manually fold and assemble cartons, and insert interior packing into assembled outer carton.
• Carry glue bags to work area and ensure that machines are filled with glue.
• Clean equipment with air hose, and keep work area clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• Able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis
• Able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements
