B. Monroe Salon Associate Stylist
Directly Reports To: Main Educator, Education Lead

Summary of Position: To aid the educator in achieving service and retail goals. To learn as much as possible from the Educators so the Associate Stylist will have a better knowledge and understanding to use in their own career. To learn, execute, and maintain the B. Monroe Salon Experience for each and every guest.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of my shift unless otherwise notified by my Educator and Director of Operations.
• Adhere to salon company dress code and professional appearance expectations every day working on the floor.
• Ensure our day is planned in my Educator’s Stylist Planner, every day, prior to the first scheduled guest.
• Be present and ready to learn.
• Actively listen to directions and lessons.
• Use downtime wisely and with intention.
• Complete any items on the Downtime Task List as time allows.
• Be active with self-promotion through social media and handing out cards to potential new guests.
• Aiding in finding replacement once Associate Stylist has entered A5. (last leg of the program)
• Complete each phase of the program before moving on to a new phase. This includes referral guest goals for that specific time frame.
• Check in with other service providers to see if they can assist them in any way.
• Check in with the Front Desk Team to see if they need any assistance.
• Participate in a Daily Debrief at the end of each shift with their Educator.
• Ensure that the Educator’s checkout tickets/TCS are completed and on hold, the guest is prebooked, as well as any retail recommendations written/pulled, PRIOR to the guest going to check out.
• Consistently follow through on all salon Brand Promises with every single guest that they work with.
• Assist in general salon cleanliness tasks as needed.
• Help out with salon inventory (backbar, retail, boutique, etc) as needed.
