Housekeeping Associate - Fairfield by Marriott Warrensburg

Job summary

Our housekeeping team is truly the “heart of the house”, ensuring that our hotel is spotless for every guest who enters the building.  Most of a housekeeper’s day is spent cleaning rooms after guests depart, but our housekeepers do also play an important role in responding to guest requests and servicing in-house guest rooms as well.  If you enjoy a hands-on job where you can see the results of your work and spend most of your day working alone, this is a great opportunity to join a positive and caring culture! 

Job responsibilities

• Completely clean rooms after check-out including removing trash, stripping linens, making beds and cleaning the entire room.
• Clean in-house guest rooms and assist with fulfilling housekeeping-related guests requests.
• Maintain clean back-of-house areas and restock housekeeping carts at the end of each day.
• Report any maintenance or guest service issues to the front desk and management teams.
• Identify and address guest service issues immediately.
• Assist with cleaning public spaces and laundry as needed.
• Handle other responsibilities as needed/directed by hotel management.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a commitment to working as a team to deliver excellent service.
• Flexible schedule – weekdays, weekends, and holidays (weekend/holiday availability required).
• Passionate about cleaning.

• Physically able to perform all responsibilities including but not limited to bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. 
• Able to successfully pass a drug test and background check.
