Job Description
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $19.00 - $23.51 per/hour
Location: Yosemite Lakes, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and insurance claims.
- Perform vital signs measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with coding and documentation of medical procedures and diagnoses.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including assisting with dressing and positioning.
- Coordinate patient services, including scheduling referrals to specialists and arranging for diagnostic tests or hospital admissions.
- Assist with X-ray procedures and maintain X-ray equipment.
- Administer basic life support in emergency situations.
- Provide patient care by assisting with wound care, medication administration, and specimen collection.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy to accurately communicate with healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
- Certification in Medical Assisting
- Experience working in a medical clinic setting is preferred.
