Overview:
We are hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to join our business and contribute to multi-discipline design projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Princeton, NJ. This person will have the opportunity to work on various public and private site development projects across various markets!

Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience working in Engineering, preferably with design projects.
- PE in NJ is required (additional PE credential in PA is a plus!).
- Advanced knowledge of land-use planning.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, especially while overseeing scheduling, budgeting, and client relations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Engineering principles and best practices; advanced expertise in site/civil development
- Proven ability to manage relationships with clients and external partners/contractors.
- Proficiency in standard office software applications: Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- Proven ability to look at the Big Picture as well as the project goals in order to coordinate various design disciplines accordingly.
- Proven ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills, especially when working on a variety of projects while providing solutions to difficult issues.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Management and/or Project Management experience is strongly preferred;
- A proven track record in effective staff management/leadership is a plus!
- Experience working with river and stormwater management, especially while utilizing relevant software/modeling tools, is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of engineering design drawings from schematic design through construction documents (e.g.: engineering reports, technical specifications, etc.) as well as municipal site plan submissions and cost breakdowns for municipal bonding.
- Meet with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Delegate project workload to Junior Engineers & Drafters; this involves monitoring schedules and budgets to ensure effective completion of projects accordingly.
- Mentor/guide and support junior-level staff.
- Complete field inspections, as needed.
