Line Cook at THE COPPER CRUST MARKET

The Copper Crust Co in York, PA is looking for one line cook to join our 26 person strong team. We are located on 966 S George St.

The Copper Crust Co in York, PA, voted "best place for Foodies" and one of the best bakeries is looking for 1-2 line cooks to join our 24 person strong team. We are located across from York Hospital. We are headed down the path of expansion and looking for key individuals who are willing to learn and take on responsibility. The right individual is driven and has a hunger for more food knowledge, skills, and takes pride in their craft.

Our ideal candidate has a minimum of a year experience, and is attentive, motivated, reliable and professional.

Qualifications

• Understands the need to give EVERY customer the best experience.
• Cooking experience in a scratch kitchen preferred as well as a desire/willingness to do/learn "our way." We will train the right individual.
• Able to meet all scheduling commitments and respects what "on-time" means.
• Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and the FOH and proactively work to meet those needs which best serve the clientele
• Strong attention to detail with a desire to "get it right," and have a "let's get it done" positive attitude
• Must be able to lift 50lbs (ie bags of flour), stand and work hard for long periods.
• There is no "that's not my job" here - we are looking for a team minded individual.
• Experience with artisan pizza is a plus
• pay rate based upon experience

Responsibilities

• Work smart, work efficient, work clean and organized
• Set up, prep and stock stations with all necessary supplies and assist with general prep lists
• Cook menu items, in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, to get the expected end result at the proper time.
• Clean-up, organize and sanitize the restaurant, particularly the assigned station at the end of the shift ensuring leftover foods are treated with proper care.
• Stock and assist with maintaining inventory

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Mondays. Compensation is $14.00 - $16.00/hour.
