RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completing high-quality paint repairs assigned in the shortest time possible while ensuring exceptional service to our customers.
- Perform duties associated with painting to include mixing and matching paint, preparing and testing panels, and monitoring of painting operations.
- Ensure quality paint repairs through prepping, blending formulas, top coat application, and curing.
- Identify cause and correct any deficiencies that may occur during the painting process including blistering and streaking.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g. air sprayers, sanders, etc.)
- Follow protocols provided for repairs.
- Prep vehicles for painting as necessary.
- Strong, consistent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate.
- Positive, can-do attitude with the desire to work in a team setting.
- Comply with all Five Star safety rules, guidelines, and standards.
- Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position with or with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of performing high-quality paint repairs using up-to-date methods.
- Ability to use all power tools required to perform position.
- Must be able to understand verbal and/or written instructions related to repairs, ask follow-up questions, and communicate clearly any obstacles with meeting deadlines and/or standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have auto body painting experience
- Must be able to adapt to new methods, processes, material, and equipment
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills, organizational skills
- Must be self-motivated and conduct oneself in professional manner
- Must be responsible, reliable, and able to work under pressure
- Must be able to work within and be actively engaged and involved in a team environment
- Clean and valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
