Outside Sales

Techline Pipe is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to work in its Montgomery, TX office. Sales territory is a 50-mile radius around the Montgomery, Texas area.

Responsibilities include:

• Obtain purchase orders from contractors based on project estimates
• Research public and private bid results
• Follow-up with contractors based on bid results
• Develop new customers and maintain existing relationships
• Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
• Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
• Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
• Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure customer invoices are paid in a timely manner

• Exercise discretion and confidentiality with company and customer information
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective both in a team environment and working independently

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; Associates degree or equivalent from a two year college preferred. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
• At least two years of related work experience in a similar position.
• Willingness to travel and access to reliable transportation. No overnight travel is expected.
• Adobe and Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
