Job Summary
Village Caregiving - Point Pleasant is seeking a Part Time Home Health Aide (HHA) to join their team in Ravenswood, West Virginia. The Home Health Aide will provide personal care, hygiene, comfort, and companionship to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes. They must be a compassionate, motivated individual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Compensation & Benefits
Part Time - Hourly, Pay rate is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
• Follow care plans and instructions for each individual patient
• Provide individualized Personal Care Services that may include bathing, skin care, toileting, and assistive devices
• Provide Companionship, Respite Services, and Shopping Services
• Assist with light housekeeping, cooking, and meal preparation
• Assist with Ambulation, Transfers, and Ranges of motion
• Provide client transportation as needed
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively and sensitively with clients
• A compassionate and caring attitude towards clients
