Job Description: Hospitality Representative (Breakfast Attendant)

Job Type: Part-Time Weekend and Holiday

Job Profile Summary:

As a Hospitality Representative(Breakfast Attendant) – Focused Service, your primary role is to ensure guests start their day right with a delightful dining experience during our complimentary breakfast service. You are the face of the Hotel in the morning, responsible for setting the tone for our guests' day with friendly, efficient service and high-quality food presentation.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Food Presentation and Service: Prepare and present the complimentary breakfast, ensuring food supplies are well-stocked, dishes are cleared promptly, and the buffet area is clean and inviting.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide warm, professional customer service, resolving guest concerns and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, utensils, and equipment following Health Department guidelines to prevent cross-contamination. Ensure food is stored and presented at the correct temperatures.
  • Operational Efficiency: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operation of food production, facilitate effective shift changes, and maintain clear communication with supervisors and colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior customer service and food service experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: Must become Food Safety Training and certified within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally and 15lbs regularly, bend and squat repeatedly, and stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Must be a motivated team player with a strong initiative and the ability to handle workplace problems effectively.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work well under stress and adapt to changing situations. Flexible scheduling availability is required to meet hotel needs.
