New Mexico Occupational Therapist Job Opening

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a rewardingfull-time position in a school setting? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist for the current school year in New Mexico. Also open to experienced COTA (Reach out if qualified and interested!)

Responsibilities:
-23 students total of 12 direct service hours
- Some pensatory time
- Conduct prehensive assessments of students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop strategies and acmodations to support students' occupational therapy needs in the classroom.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, and other school-related meetings as required.

Requirements:
- Valid (active) Occupational Therapist license in the state of New Mexico.
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and interventions.
- Ability to assess, interpret, and document student progress accurately.
