JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role: System Configuration Specialist
Role Summary:
Under the role of System Configuration Specialist, the successful candidate will be required to utilize their broad and comprehensive expertise in addressing complex issues pertaining to system user requirements. You will be responsible for interpreting user demands into applicable system solutions and implementing system configurations and enhancements with an aim to optimize system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and comprehend system user requirements to effectively design and implement system configurations, enhancements, and modifications.
- Translate user requirements into applicable system solutions.
- Collaborate with multiple groups within and outside of the company, such as software support staff, consultants, and company management to solve business challenges.
- Undertake project execution following industry standards and best practices at all phases including Gap Analysis, Blue printing, Development, Testing, Reporting, and Post Go-live support.
- Uplift the team culture and core values to drive engagement and foster accountability.
- Demonstrate a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values in all team interactions.
- Foster a cooperative atmosphere within the team and between teams.
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as relevant to the role.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in AMS project and Production Support.
- Proficiency in SAP ECC, especially in SD/MM/PP modules.
- Familiarity with SAP APO/BW and API integration is advantageous.
- Prior experience working with EDI (IDOC)/ABAP developers to design/standardize functional solutions.
- Competency in enabling data-driven decisions and in quickly pulling and analyzing data.
- Proven ability to successfully manage small to medium-sized projects using waterfall/Agile methodology.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Around 8-10 years of experience in business analysis or in a role that requires project execution.
