Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Soliant is working with a school district in the Abbeville, South Carolina area that is in need of a Special Education Teacher. Soliant offers a petitive hourly pay each week. Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Special Education teacher certification
- Ability to pass a background check
- Previous experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the classroom team and the dynamics and functioning of all staff within their classroom
- plete the individualized Education plan (IEP) process, which includes IEP development, collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, and preparation of required paperwork
- Work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to develop/design and implement appropriate services
- Provide appropriate guidance, leadership, and direction to staff within the classroom
