Salesforce Systems Specialist

Overview

The Salesforce Systems Specialist will serve as the principal contact and systems expert for ABHS Salesforce platform and suite of products. The specialist will continually improve and enhance the Salesforce platform, gather requirements and feedback, design scalable solutions from best practice, and manage the salesforce development roadmap. The Salesforce Systems Specialist will be essential to streamlining business processes through platform automation for maximum operational efficiency and business gain.

Responsibilities

Salesforce Platform Administration

  • Serve as subject matter expert and platform administrator for Salesforce Cloud suite of products including but not limited to Salesforce Health Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Oversee administration of all aspects of user and license management including user setup, user deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, groups, organization wide defaults (OWD), rules, and access.
  • Responsible for all Salesforce configuration changes including but not limited to flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
  • Perform requirements gathering and subsequent execution on the Salesforce platform by leveraging best practices towards deploying scalable solutions.
  • Serve as key point of contact for Salesforce consultants and vendors.

Process Optimization, Project Management, and Support

  • Recommend innovative ideas, processes, and/or procedures for enhancements, additions, and modifications to improve existing workflows.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate current state and develop future state design of business processes towards defining clear requirements and specifications for Salesforce platform projects.
  • Utilize project management methodologies to establish clear plans for execution and delivery of Salesforce platform initiatives.
  • Respond and assist stakeholders and users in escalated Salesforce support issues towards final issue resolution.

Data and Reporting

  • Assist stakeholders and users in the design and configuration of reports and dashboards that provide key insights for decision making.
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise to the business intelligence team in data analytics projects and in the building of models for business and clinical insights.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge with at least 2 years of experience in hands-on Salesforce Administration.
  • Understanding of basic triggers and Apex code knowledge.
  • Effective communication skills and attention to detail with effective follow-through and commitment to excellence, the ability to provide clear and accurate directions, and ability to train the trainer.
  • Credentialed as a Certified Salesforce Administrator with Trailhead Badges/Super Badges.
  • Acute ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Prior DevOps/release management experience.
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.) and business agreements for data transfer.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  • Additional certification as a Salesforce Platform Developer is a plus.
  • Active involvement in the Salesforce community is a plus.
  • Occasional travel in the performance of assigned duties.
