Job Overview:

QBS is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team in North Attleboro, MA. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office and ensuring the smooth functioning of various administrative processes. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. As the Office Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining the office environment and supporting the needs of our team.

Responsibilities

Office Materials and Equipment:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of non-training supplies.
  • Coordinate the ordering of both non-training and training supplies.
  • Assign asset numbers for materials to facilitate tracking.

Mail Handling:

  • Open and sort incoming mail.
  • Receive and organize packages and deliveries.
  • Manage the purchase of stamps and other shipping materials.

Facility Management:

  • Handle heating/cooling requests and ensure a comfortable working environment.
  • Manage security codes and address alarm issues promptly.
  • Serve as a liaison with building maintenance (landlord) and cleaners.
  • Stock restrooms, training rooms, and team member and training room kitchen areas.

Staff Event Planning:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating in-person staff events.
  • Coordinate catering, activities, and supplies for events.
  • Organize staff recognition.

Other Support Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee programs to support customer longevity recognition program.
  • Provide support for training material logistics, ensuring timely availability and distribution.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally facing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a working knowledge of CRM and/or support desk software.
  • Experience in event planning is a plus.
