Job Posting: Licensed Journeyman Electrician
Excel/EPI Job Opening: Licensed Journeyman ElectricianJob DescriptionExcel/EPI is currently seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires working on-site, located in Des Moines, IA, with per diem offered.
Duties and Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout for electrical wiring
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify issues and troubleshoot problems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with other electricians, contractors, and clients to coordinate work and communicate progress
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a licensed electrician
- Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
