Job Posting: Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Excel/EPI Job Opening: Licensed Journeyman ElectricianJob Description

Excel/EPI is currently seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires working on-site, located in Des Moines, IA, with per diem offered.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout for electrical wiring
  • Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify issues and troubleshoot problems
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other electricians, contractors, and clients to coordinate work and communicate progress
Requirements
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a licensed electrician
  • Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
