A Day in the Life of a Field Inspector

HomeRiver is looking to Hire a full-time Field Inspector to join our team. As our Field Inspector, you will be responsible for quickly getting to the homes to effectively manage timelines. You will be dedicated to field operations and site visits; these team members will receive their assignments from the Vacancy Coordinator and will be guided by the Maintenance Manager. Lastly, your daily tasks will include: Turn/Rebah QC Inspections, In-Person Utility Connections, Smart-Lock rekeys, pre-move out, move out, move in inspections, hero shots (pre-marketing photos), yard signs, lockbox installations and vacant unit inspections.

Role and Responsibilities

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 1+ year(s) experience in Property Management (Preferable)
  • 1+ year(s) experience within the Residential Maintenance Field
  • Ability to work with various technology platforms (Cloud based systems)
  • Intermediate experience using MS Office applications and G-Suite
  • The candidate should be computer savvy and quickly adapt to new computer systems
  • Valid driver's license with proof of insurability and reliable personal transportation
