We are looking for a hardworking individual with a positive, can-do attitude. The following position is currently available: Event Production Journeyman in Expo and Events. This is an entry level position with a great opportunity for growth in an exciting field and company. The perfect fit will be a dynamic, creative and experienced event professional that is able to perform multiple duties relating to producing a variety of events. This position learns the installation and dismantle process of Expo & Events.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and dismantle of Expo & Events
  • Work with Production Supervisors to ensure delivery of client expectations
  • Work with Warehouse Manager to create and ensure proper equipment allocation for each event
  • Work with facility personnel to ensure safety and compliance of rules within the facility
  • Responsible for quality assurance
  • Monitor and report on progress, problems and solutions
  • Maintain a creative, solution-oriented and positive approach to all projects
  • Resolve issues proactively
  • Maintain quality customer service under pressure
  • Execute schedule requirements on time and time tracking of projects
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. and be physically active
  • Work as part of a team
  • Follow instructions, both written and verbal for all event projects
  • Use good judgement while proactively problem solving
  • Drive a forklift, scissor lift, company van or box truck as required
  • Show a consistent willingness to work in a multitude of environments, from warehouse to upscale residences and hotels
  • Willingness to learn and understand floorplans, graphic templates, info sheets, etc.
  • Ability to work early morning, evenings, and weekends as the Expo and Events schedule requires

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience in project execution, event production or warehouse operations is a plus
  • Tradeshow and permanent installation experience
  • Ability to work well within, and/or lead, a team setting
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
  • Solution, deadline and detail-oriented
