Job Details:

· Position: Tai Chi / Qigong instructor

· Type: Part-Time

· Shifts: 2 hours twice a week between 7 AM and 7 PM

· Location: VA Northern Indiana Health Care System,

Job Summary: Sanford Federal, Inc is looking to hire an instructor to provide Tai Chi / Qigong classes to Veterans, Veteran Caregivers, and Employees.

Qualifications: · Must have a documentation for all contract tai chi instructors of certification through a Tai chi Alliance e-RYT 200 or equivalent program (200 contact hour training plus 1000 documented teaching hours), RYT 500, or C-IAYT. · Must have documentation for all contract tai chi instructors of completion of Trauma Informed Yoga training. · Must have certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support training or plan for completion of training prior to initiation of performance.

Duties: · Provide tai chi and meditation classes to Veterans and Veteran Caregivers · Adapt the Tai chi and meditation instruction as needed for patients with complex medical conditions · Shall be knowledgeable and sensitive to the unique experiences and special needs of combat-deployed Veterans

. Shall be present at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of each class.
