Volunteer Recruiter

The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) is a world-class medical camp which began serving children and their families in February, 2008. Since that time, our year-round camp programs have served over 40,700 campers from 45 states and 13 foreign countries. We serve children who typically would not be able to attend camp due to their illness and financial constraints. CCK provides respite and support for these ill children and their families and is designed exclusively for the use of an underserved medically fragile population. The children and families who attend CCK are able to experience activities like horseback riding, boating, fishing, rock climbing and bowling with no limitations or barriers. CCK family retreats and summer camp sessions are offered at NO COST to the children and families we serve.

The Center for Courageous Kids, Scottsville, Kentucky, has an immediate opening for a full-time Volunteer Recruiter. This individual will develop, implement, oversee and enhance all phases of volunteer recruiting to meet the needs of all camp programming and development events in order to achieve the mission of the Center for Courageous Kids.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong oral and written interpersonal and communications skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills
• Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities
• Excellent public relations skills
• Must demonstrate strong leadership and delegation abilities
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Exceptional computer skills- word processing, data entry, internet navigation and VOMO
• Excellent analytical skills
• Team player
