Substitute Child Care Teacher

YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is looking to hire an Substitute Child Care Teacher!

Substitute Child Care Teacher Salary: $15.50 - 18.00 per hour

Substitute Child Care Teacher Hours: Monday - Friday as needed and available 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM window

Substitute Child Care Teacher Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and foster a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
• Lead age appropriate activities
• Utilize state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
• Build strong relationships with the parents

Substitute Child Care Teacher Qualifications:

• Have 2+ years of experience working with children - this can be professional, volunteer, or familial (babysitting, etc)
• High school graduate. College credits in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• At least 18 years of age
• Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
