Job Description
Baillie Lumber's Smyrna, NY location is looking to add a Forklift Operator. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our team as a first shift forklift operator. The positions primary responsibilities include operating a forklift in a large open warehouse to locate/organize/move material as needed.
Industrial Forklift Operator Pay & Benefits:
- First Shift
- Full Time Hours
- Overtime Hours and Pay
- Full Plan of Benefits
- Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $17.00 - 19.00/hour
Industrial Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Locating/pulling/organizing loads of material needed for orders
- Ability to work independently
- Assist shipping dept as needed for various duties
- Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision
Industrial Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an equipment operator using a forklift required
- Heavy equipment operator experience required
- Prefer someone who has at least 1 year of experience within the last 2 years
- Must be self motivated and organized
- Willingness to work in outside environment
- Willingness to work overtime
