At EFCO, we believe in helping those responsible for the construction of the world's concrete structures with a safe, reliable, and cost efficient concrete formwork solution. We do this by engineering, designing, manufacturing, supplying and field servicing formwork and elevated slab shoring systems for concrete construction.

We are seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician to be located at our CPI Manufacturing Plant in Des Moines, IA. Shift is 4:00pm - 12:30am, Monday - Friday.

Duties:

1. Diagnose problems in electronic controls.
2. Diagnose problems in robot controllers.
3. Repair or replace electronic controls.
4. Repair or replace robot controls.
5. Diagnose problems in hydraulic-operated machinery.
6. Diagnose problems in mechanically operated machinery.
7. Diagnose problems in electrical motor control circuits.
8. Repair or replace hydraulic components, hoses, valves, cylinders, etc.
9. Repair or replace gears, shafts, bearings, sprockets, chains, etc.
10. Repair or replace electrical components, relays, solenoids, switches, etc.
11. Bend and install conduit and/or Sealtite.
12. Pull electrical wiring and terminate.
13. Cut and thread water, gas, and air piping.
14. Assemble threaded, soldiered, and plastic piping systems.
15. Move heavy equipment, presses, shears, drills, office furniture, etc.
16. Drive mobile equipment, forklifts, straight truck, tractor, hyd. crane.
17. Diagnose and repair printed circuit board.
18. Other duties as assigned by supervision.
19. Inspect and service cranes, forklifts, and other items needed.
20. Record labor accurately.
21. Perform quality audit process and update workorder with notes upon job completion.
22. Clean up work area where work was performed.
23. Clean and organize shop daily.

Requirements:

1. AA Degree in computer/industrial electronics or documented education in schematics, integrated circuits, and micro electronic processed.
2. If no formal education, must pass a test to validate skills.
