St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Berlin, NH, is an 74-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are proud to be a part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire’s continuum of care.


We are looking for an experienced, Full Time Staff Development/Infection Control Coordinator to join our nursing management team.

Staff Development/Infection Control Coordinator Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

• Plan, develop, direct, evaluate and coordinate staff development educational programs to include new hire orientation, staff in-services and on-the-job training

• Assure that all employees are informed, oriented and knowledgeable about job assignments, exposures and instructions needed to provide the highest quality of care

• Monitors employee compliance

• Provide staffing coverage as requested to maintain appropriate staff ratios

• Share “on call” responsibility with other nurse managers


Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State of New Hampshire and be in good standing with the NH Board of Nursing

• Must have at least two years’ experience as a supervisor in a healthcare facility, preferably in a long-term care setting

• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures that pertain to long-term care

• Must be CPR/BCLS and IV certified

• Interact professionally with residents, family members, visitors, staff and governmental agencies
