Rate of pay: Incentive. Rates typically start at $20-$22 an hour. Experienced workers can earn more based on productivity.

We are seeking production workers to join our team! Our production teams are involved throughout the process of creating our quality product. From the beginning of the process until the finished product each one of our production workers is an important part of the entire process.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Use a variety of equipment, including hoists, glue gun, hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to create and process our products.
• Verifies specifications by measuring and testing completed components.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms as needed.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Prepare the finished product for shipping.
• Utilize computers and printers as required.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Department Supervisor.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with venders, co-workers and management.
• Must be willing to learn and practice continuous improvement techniques.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Cross train to other positions as needed.
• Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be capable of working safely, following all safety rules and protocol.
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced high production setting.
• Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.
• Use lifting hoists as required.
• Must be able to work as a team.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Must be capable of withstanding extreme heat.
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Must have the ability to be certified to operate a forklift.
• Must be able to complete a timecard.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to twist repetitively, reach with hands and arms; bend, stoop, kneel crouch, talk and hear, stand for long periods of time; walk and climb up stairs/steps. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, forklift traffic, hot sand, loud noise, chemicals, high temperatures, hot surfaces, molten metal, sharp objects or edges, grinding with wheels and carbides, silica dust and water.
