Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and directs the Plumbers to effectively perform the functions of repair, replacement, installation and other duties as required for customer satisfaction
  • Reviews Plumbing Technicians work to ensure quality meets Summers standards and safety requirements; makes recommendations to improve quality and productivity
  • Conducts group and one-on-one training with technicians on lead generation, customer service and company practices and procedures; participates and/or conducts regularly schedules departmental safety/informational meetings
  • Ensures that all company/department policies are being follows by all Plumbing staff
  • Train employees on technical skills, company processes and procedures, and safety rules and practices
  • Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are being used, maintained, and properly accounted for
  • Represent Summers professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and activities
  • Demonstrates leadership to field technicians in the areas of customer focus and customer service
  • Performs similar/other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must hold a current Plumbing License
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overhead
  • Must be able to climb and work on ladders
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools
  • Demonstrate ability to train others in technical skills and effective customer service
  • Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving records
  • Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
