ABOUT THE ROLE

The Bartender plays a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by making drinks and delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring the responsible service of alcohol, and contributing to the overall ambiance of our restaurants and bars.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Craft Innovative Cocktails: Utilize your extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and flavor profiles to create a diverse range of cocktails that captivate the senses and leave a lasting impression on our guests.
  • Provide Exceptional Service: Exceed guest expectations by delivering personalized, attentive service with warmth and professionalism. Anticipate their needs, offer recommendations, and ensure that each guest's experience is nothing short of extraordinary.
  • Lead by Example: Serve as a role model for the bartending team, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic. Provide guidance, training, and support to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage Bar Operations: Oversee all aspects of bar operations during the shift , including maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Take proactive measures to optimize efficiency and minimize waste while upholding quality standards.
  • Enhance Beverage Program: Collaborate with management to develop and refine the beverage program, introducing new cocktails, seasonal offerings, and innovative techniques that showcase your creativity and expertise.
  • Promote Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive beverage sales through suggestive selling, upselling, and promotional initiatives. Monitor sales trends, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategies to maximize profitability while delivering exceptional value to our guests.
  • Foster a Positive Work Environment: Cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment where teamwork, respect, and camaraderie thrive. Inspire and motivate the bartending team to excel, recognizing their contributions and celebrating their successes.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies pertaining to alcohol service, safety, and sanitation. Exercise sound judgment in enforcing policies and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume, upscale establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and mixology techniques.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring and coaching others.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
