Want to work with preschool children with a team of teacher's full time? Join our team and work with children and families to support children's social emotional well-being and school readiness skills.

Being an Assistant Teacher is a great way to gain valuable experience. This job plays a valuable role in the classroom by helping to plan curriculum activities, working with parents to support children's individual goals and documenting student progress just to name a few things. The Assistant Teacher has the support of other teachers learning the Head Start program and best practices in Early Childhood Education.

Regular Full-Time Onsite Position: Monday - Friday 40 hrs. week (year-round)

Typical Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Benefits:

Requirements:

• (9) core units Early Childhood Education/Child Development
• Preventative Health and Safety Course or complete once hired
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
• Valid Calif. Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
• Health Screening, proof of current negative TB test, be immunized for measles and pertussis and current influenza shot
