Job Description
Thompson Engineering is looking for a Building Envelope SME with experience in acoustic/sound enclosures, life safety/emergency egress, building envelope, and all other related construction activities to work on a large construction program at Patrick AFB, FL. Assignment will be for 1 year (base) and 2 optional years.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in multimillion-dollar DOD projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with building envelope and air barrier construction and testing
- Must demonstrate experience with reviewing testing procedures and testing reports as well as experience with witnessing and evaluating air barrier efficacy
- Experience with military construction and the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) is preferred
- Excellent math skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- These characteristics are a plus:
- Military Construction experience
- Air Force Installation Experience
- State of Florida experience
- Corps of Engineers experience with Resident Management System (RMS)
