Position Overview:

Etain, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Etain Health, a leading cannabis company. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in carrying out QC inspections for incoming, in-process, and finished goods. You will also be responsible for the final release of batch management records.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform QC inspection process for incoming, in-process, and finished goods
  • Complete required documentation to record quality inspections
  • Provide disposition for inspected product while maintaining traceability and inventory control
  • Review of quality records
  • Review and final release of batch management records
  • Review, edit, and approval of controlled documentation
  • Participate in investigations and evaluations to support quality system processes
  • Act as Quality presence when interfacing with manufacturing and cultivation team members
  • Escalate issues or quality defects to appropriate personnel
  • Draft quality control documentation for new processes
  • Conduct audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance to SOPs and regulatory requirements as needed
  • Support audits and inspections as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • Must be 21 years of age to apply.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required: Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a quality role in a highly regulated industry
  • Ability to follow written procedures and monitor others for adherence to written procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience with quality inspections is preferred.
  • Prior experience drafting controlled documentation is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to escalate issues or defects
