Every product that leaves our factory has been designed, engineered, and produced for exclusive use in North America. Thermo Products, LLC is a subsidiary of Burnham Holdings, Inc .and is respected as a quality leader in its market.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team! This position will inspect products, processes, and materials for quality and conformance to print specifications and other applicable requirements.

This is a full-time hourly position located in Denton, NC. Hours are Monday – Friday 7 AM – 3:30 PM.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Establish and maintain quality standards for manufactured products, units, assemblies, processes, and procedures
  • Read blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards
  • Recommend any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
  • Inspect and test products produced
  • Utilize inspection and measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Segregate and tag products that don’t meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality
  • Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with production team
  • Performing random inspections to assess product quality and conformity
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Quality Manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must understand how to read prints, specifications, and work instructions
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision
  • Solid understanding of test equipment
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of quality and production experience
  • Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including geometry, fractions, decimals, ratios, and proportions
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
