LOCATION: WINNER, SD

Frontier Motors Automotive Group, Inc. in Winner, SD, is looking for an experienced parts department manager due to the upcoming retirement of our current parts department manager.

Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch and every other Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to Noon. During the week the employee works a Saturday, they will take Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon off.

Pay: Pay and bonus plan depends on experience and will be discussed at interview.

Employee is responsible for maintaining a balanced parts inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, wholesale accounts and retail customers as well as maintaining manufacturers' required inventory levels; controlling returns in a timely manner and minimizing obsolete parts on hand with the overall goal of maximizing department profit.

Duties include taking customer orders from external and internal customers including the company's own service department; locating and accurately ordering parts, receipting parts, and distributing parts. Employee is responsible for providing excellent customer service and coordinating parts sales to maximize profit for the dealership.

More duties include setting and enforcing a policy on the special ordering of parts; analyzing sales, costs and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals; developing and administering an aggressive wholesale parts program to produce profit; ensuring that all dealership purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made; assisting in the collection of past-due accounts; carrying out a yearly physical parts inventory; enforcing safety requirements, processing of MSDS sheets on all products carried and OSHA Right-to-Know; understanding, keeping abreast of, and complying with federal, state and local regulations that may affect parts sales; other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Experience in parts sales is preferred. We use the CDK DMS system, which employee will be trained on, but any experience with CDK is a plus. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills; telephone and computer skills; is organized, has attention to detail, and is able to work with a variety of people including customers and co-workers/managers.
