Purpose of Your Job

• To drive the facility vehicle to transport residents and staff to desired destination.

Responsibilities:

• Review daily transportation schedule and be available.
• Provide minimal assist of residents transferring to and from wheelchair.
• Assist resident and nursing staff with transfer to and from vehicle.
• Operate elevator as needed.
• Inform nursing staff of an incidents immediately.
• Maintain positive professional interactions with residents and staff.
• Attend in-services.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures..
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation..
• Valid driver's license
• CNA preferred // not required
