Job Description

A private practice anesthesia group located conveniently north of Pittsburgh. This position offers a diverse and rewarding caseload, with a mix including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, thoracic, vascular, basic neuro, OB, and limited pediatric cases. Call duties every 4th night, providing ample opportunities for work-life balance. Supervision of CRNAs.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive regional salary package, ranging from $440,000 to $500,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with surgical teams to develop individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Participate in on-call rotation from home, responding to urgent and emergency cases as needed.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and follow-up to ensure patient recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Environment: Our facility boasts a supportive and collaborative work environment, with a team of three Anesthesiologists and eleven CRNAs. The majority of our caseload is outpatient, providing a dynamic and fast-paced atmosphere. With post-call days off and limited call-backs to the hospital while on call, our schedule allows for ample personal and family time. Weekend on-call cases are exclusive to urgent and emergency circumstances, ensuring a balanced lifestyle for our team members.
