Job Title: Caregiver

Contract Length: Extends indefinitely!

Salary: $19 per hour

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Second shift only (2 PM-11 PM).

Location: Coolidge, AZ

Overview:

Are you interested in helping others? In this role, you will make a meaningful impact by coaching, teaching, mentoring, and providing direct support to individuals with Developmental Disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. The primary focus will be on meeting the personal needs of members residing in our care facilities and group home settings.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct activities and programs to encourage the development of new skills while maintaining existing ones.

- Collaborate with members to teach or assist them in daily living skills such as bathing, toileting, dressing, mealtime/eating, and attending day/work programs.

- Perform housekeeping duties, including dusting, clothes washing, dishes, mopping, and disinfecting therapy equipment and wheelchairs.

- Prepare, cook, set up, and serve meals as needed, supporting mealtime techniques and service in accordance with specialized diets.

- Provide basic health care, including medication administration.

- Encourage and involve members in recreational activities at home and in the community.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities is preferred but not required. We’ll train you.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including different shifts, overtime, and changing work locations, as these positions involve 24-hour residential settings.

- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Physical ability to lift/carry at least 50 lbs. and push/pull at least 50 lbs.
