POSITION SUMMARY: AEVEX is seeking a mid-level full-time employee to fill an Electronics Technician position. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for supporting Aircraft mission systems integration, wiring of electrical components and fabrication of various electronic enclosures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES: The Electronics Technician II will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Plan and perform electrical engineering research, design development and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering, and customer specifications.
  2. Supporting aircraft mission systems integration.
  3. Electrical Engineering support:
    1. Cable building, wire stripping and crimping, soldering, installation of avionics equipment.
    2. Ability to use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools.
    3. Analyze data and production reports
  4. Machining and tooling:
    1. Operate CNC machine and other fabrication machines.
    2. Ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
    3. Maintenance and upkeep of machines and tools
    4. Soldering
    5. Knowledge of Mil-Spec and Avionics tooling
  5. Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, drawings, and schematics.
  6. Maintaining work area for daily operations and cleanliness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Associates or bachelor's in engineering or applicable technical field
  2. 3+ years prior experience
  3. Detail oriented and capable with working in a team environment
  4. Hold a current Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.
  5. Job will require roughly 25% travel throughout the year to CONUS and or OCONUS locations.
