ABOUT NORTHWOODS CREDIT UNION (NCU)

Our credit union started back in 1936 in a small trailer on paper mill property. There were 5 paper mill employees with a vision of offering fairly priced products and excellent service to their hard-working coworkers. Today, we continue to serve the employees of select employer groups as well as anyone who lives, works, goes to school, volunteers, or attends church in Carlton, Pine, and St. Louis Counties along with several more cities and towns. Over the years we've changed names and locations but we still focus on providing exceptional member service and fairly priced products to our members. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ENTRY-LEVEL MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE I / TELLER

As a Member Service Representative / Teller, you arrive each day full of energy and ready to provide unsurpassed customer service as the first line of interaction with our members. You cheerfully greet current and prospective members, taking the time to really listen to their needs. With professionalism, you help process transactions and solve problems, as well as provide information about our credit union and the banking services we offer. Happy to help, you assist members in balancing their accounts and filling out documents. You always make a great first impression and enjoy nurturing ongoing relationships with our members.

With efficiency and accuracy, you process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash advances, loan payments, credit card payments, account maintenance, and the cashing of checks. You also have opportunities to utilize your product knowledge and cross-sell financial products and services to meet the financial needs of our members. You enjoy your job and take pride in providing exceptional customer service to our members!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE I / TELLER

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and other commonly used office software

• 10-key skills
• Ability to become proficient with our core processing platform (Flex)
• Customer service skills

WORK SCHEDULE

This Full-time entry-level banking position typically works varied hours between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday and rotating Saturdays 9:00 AM -12:00 PM.
