Software Engineer

Exacta Systems is an industry leader that provides innovative solutions to gaming entertainment.

Our fast-growing company is seeking a Software Engineer who will take NoSQL technologies to the next level, developing mission critical financial transaction systems for gaming using MongoDB, C#, and bare-metal deployments. The successful candidate will join a small, focused team of pioneering engineers to develop new technologies and maintain dominance in a growing market.

  • Require little direct day to day management and can be trusted to work diligently.

You should be well-versed in C# .NET, MongoDB, and Microsoft IIS, Windows Server environments. In this position, you will initially be responsible for maintaining and improving a large, C# .NET IIS web application. Responsibilities include bug fixes, optimization, and upgrading internal dependencies. Familiarity with NodeJS and JavaScript also required. If you have gaming experience, we consider that a plus.

What you will do:

  • Maintain and troubleshooting a large C# .NET IIS web application, ensuring stability and efficiency.
  • Modify and work within highly complex code.
  • Optimize and refactor code for improved performance, scalability, internal dependencies, and maintainability.
  • Develop new features and enhance existing functionalities in line with evolving business requirements and customer needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to tackle complex technical challenges, contributing to innovative solutions.
  • Manage and optimize MongoDB databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and apply best practices to ensure high quality and secure code.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in NoSQL technologies, exploring new tools and methodologies to enhance development processes.
