Tow Truck Driver

Successful candidates will live within 25 miles of Lake View, IA and be available for training at our main office in Eagle Grove, Iowa. This position is eligible for a $500 sign on bonus after 120 days.

Duties primarily involve:

• Towing / transporting disabled vehicles by loading onto a car trailer
• Providing roadside assistance
• All service within approximately 60 miles of Lake View

Vehicles being towed may be disabled for a variety of reasons. Roadside services provided include: fuel delivery, lockout service, tire changes, and jump starts.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience towing a trailer and/or automotive repair/mechanical experience, but we are willing to train the right person. A valid DOT medical certificate is also required but can be obtained after hire.

Candidate must have:

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check (as required by our contracts)
• Ability to pass drug screening (for regulatory and contractual compliance)
• Smart Phone w/ GPS capabilities (iPhone or Android)
• Reliable 3/4 or 1 ton or larger truck (F-250/350, Chevy/Dodge/GMC/Ram 2500/3500 etc)
• Ability to lift 75 pound (tires, jacks, etc)
• Ablility to safely drive and maneuver a trailer

This position is on call, you can set your own hours. Must have a good attitude, common sense, and a willingness to help. A background check, driving record, and drug testing will be completed for this position. Earning potential is only limited by your willingness to work.
