Reliability Engineer


Location: Columbus, MT

Centralized Engineering - Asset Management


Schedule:

5x2, 4x3 - 9-hour days

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

The incumbent would provide reliability centered maintenance oversight to Sibanye Stillwater sites to implement Asset Reliability Project improvement tools, frameworks, and subject matter expertise.

This role would focus on the development, education, delivery, and sustainment of a robust Reliability Centered Maintenance program within SMC. The focus would be for underground activities as these are becoming more and more critical to the profitability of SMC and seeing the fastest development and evolution. RCM is the applicant of a quantified and qualified 'common sense' approach to functional requirements and failures of assets. This role would deliver:

  • Reliability based design support for new asset development, acquisition, and delivery
  • Asset Strategy development for use and maintenance of equipment to extract the maximum safe value
  • Educate site leadership, operations, and maintenance in the best utilization of assets

The RCM Efforts for Existing Assets:


  • Support develop a framework for implementing RCM efforts across SMC
  • Provide/Manage RCM Facilitator Training for Site Reliability Personnel
  • Facilitate RCM engagements for critical and high value assets
  • Manage site RCM efforts
  • Provide Regional reporting and improvement to RCM efforts

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage self, time and projects
  • Strong follow through skills
  • Excellent Intra-Personal Skills
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in RCM Analysis

Preferred:

  • Data Analytics Skills (Power BI)
  • Continuous Improvement Experience (Six Sigma, LEAN, etc.)
  • CMRP Certification
  • RCM Certification

Education & Experience

  • 5 Years of experience in Reliability Engineering Field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Field
