WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the Paint and Body Shop Team, the Body Shop Technician will be assisting the Paint Technicians in preparing surfaces of aircraft for painting.This is aGreatjob for you if you have some basic skills; auto body work, restoration work orautomotive paint experienceand are looking for a career you can grow with.Other expectations may include:

  • Surface prep and bodywork parts to be primed
  • Blocking primed parts
  • Wet lay-up
  • Masking parts that are ready to paint
  • Completing all necessary paperwork
  • Cleaning and maintenance of body shop and staging area
  • Other duties as assigned or required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Bodywork and/or automotive painting or prep experience is helpful
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to work as part of a team with a great attitude
  • High standards for following instructions, detailed work, and work quality
  • Able to stand for extended periods and move about the facility as needed to support the work
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and driven individual
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
