2nd shift premium $2.25 per hour!

Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm, overtime as required.


Auburn Gear, LLC is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom engineered wheel drives, axle drive components, and specialty drives and solutions for diverse mobile equipment applications.

We are seeking qualified individual for Plant Labor on 2nd shift. Successful candidates will provide support for company facilities, operations and maintenance needs. (See below for more details.)

Plant Labor

Essential Duties, Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to use and maintain air powered and hand tools used in basic repairs to the facility and equipment.
  • Maintaining plant cleanliness, including washing and painting walls, parts and equipment.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards.
  • Cleaning and pulling metal shavings from manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to analyze and solve issues.
  • Ability to use a handheld pallet jack, fork truck and other small industrial vehicles.
  • Ability to read and interpret instruction sheets.
  • Ability to read and understand basic measuring devices.
  • Basic knowledge of 6S safety and ISO organizational standards.
  • Exceptional safety record and promotes good safety practices.
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable and self-starter.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, with or without assistance.
  • Ability to accurately perform mathematical computations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Able to meet specific department and shift deadlines.
  • Interface with all departments and levels of management.
  • Assist with other duties as needed and directed.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 1-3 years’ experience in an industrial environment
  • Forklift experience, preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
