Key Responsibilities:

•         Sweep and spot mop stairwells

•         Clean floors, windows, and wash stairwells

•         Sweep and mop lobby floors

•         Dust vertical surfaces removing finger marks and smudges

•         Sweep and hose down sidewalk

•         Remove all garbage from building

•         Clean garbage cans immediately after trash removal

•         Set out runners, clean and return to storage when not in use, as required.

•         Spot clean boiler room and basement

•         Dust florescent light tubes and covers in hallway.

•         Police grounds

•         Clean windows, including the lobby glass

•         Clean elevator tracks

•         Perform required light maintenance including but not limited to changing light bulbs and inspecting and cleaning.

•         Assist in an entire team effort

•         Maintain personal health and sanitation standards

•         Read and interpret safety/employment manuals and other work-related documents

•         Comply with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly facility.

•         Provide observation and incident reports related to any activity witnessed by them, during their daily work routines. The focus should be to observe and report any areas considered being a hindrance to providing healthy and safe environment for our tenants and their guests.

•         Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Garbage Removal: The operations' staff removes refuse from the compactor

room several times a day and places the refuse in storage bins which are emptied three

times a week by the City Sanitation Department.

Snow Removal: Snow removal is conducted on an as needed basis. This

process will also include rock salt placement.

Recycling: Administer the recycling program as per the guidelines under the

New York City Recycling Program.
