Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector - 1st Shift - Woodfin - $15.07/hr.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Approves incoming garments by confirming sewing specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable garments in line with the company routing guide, construction requirements and vendor manual
• Approves finished garments by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning garments for re-work; confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs
• Keep measurement equipment in good shape by following equipment instructions.
• Fills in measurement spec sheets
• Matches garment specs against the sample garment
• Unpacks and repacks garment boxes

Qualifications and Skills:

• Familiarity with AQL standards of inspection
• Knowledge of in-process production by confirming specifications
• Conducting visual and measurement tests on garments
• Documentation and analytical skills
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
