We are seeking PEMB Journeymen for immediate employment.

Ironworkers / Metal Building Assembler Responsibilities:

• Assist in erecting/building primary and secondary steel structures
• Assist in installing single skin wall panels, insulated metal wall panels, standing seam roofs, metal deck, and similar
• Assist in unloading material and material shakeout/organization
• Follow all OSHA 1926 and Schwob Steel Structures safety guidelines
• Communicate effectively with the project superintendent/foreman
• Participate in all safety and quality training programs
• Depending on level, may assist in detailing drawings

Ironworkers / Metal Building Assembler Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in ironwork or steelwork for metal building erection
• OSHA 10 preferred
• Certified Reach Forklift Operator and/or Aerial Work Platform Operator preferred
• Qualified rigger/signal person preferred
• Ability to read manufacturer's drawings
• Must be comfortable with aerial work and heights 50-100+ feet (must not be afraid of heights)
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship needs
• Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs heights of 100-120+ feet, lift 50lb+ materials, and handle long hours of strenuous work during hot and cold weather
• Travel required
