Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Seasonal Sales Associate to join our
team. The ideal candidate will have a love for gardening and outdoor living, along with
strong interpersonal skills and a knack for sales. As a Sales Associate, you will assist
customers in finding the perfect plants, tools, and accessories for their gardening needs,
provide expert advice on plant care and landscaping, and ensure a positive shopping
experience for every customer.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner
- Answer questions about plants, gardening techniques, and product availability
- Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
- Create visually stunning plant displays that showcase our products
- Maintain and refresh plant displays as needed
- Water plants according to their individual needs
- Contribute to the overall success of the team by achieving sales targets and providing
excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Previous retail or customer service experience in horticulture preferred, but not necessary
- Passion for gardening and outdoor living
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
