Sewing Machine Operator

POSITION: Sewing Machine Operator

This is a production sewing position. Consistency, quality, attention to detail and high efficiency are required. TYR is proud to have a diverse workforce, including 7 different languages on our manufacturing floor!!

Duties & Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:

• Works well independently.
• Comfortable using different sewing machines (as necessary according to the need of the product) in order to sew fabrics together.
• Cut away excess threads after sewing with the trimmer on the sewing machine.
• Prepare set up and clean the sewing machine as required in order to uphold Company regulations and quality standards.
• Present and maintain a professional behavior.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions.
• Uphold Company regulations and quality standards while performing the tasks.PM21

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Good time management skills to meet/complete daily tasks and time-lines.
• Willingness to be a team player, dedicated to quality work and maintaining an excellent attendance record
• Results oriented.
• Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes or restructure of priorities.

PAY RATE: $11.00 per hour to start
