Job Description

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading the HR function at the account level within a school district, hiring personnel, driving the training process for orientation, managing policy compliance and procedures, customer service, safety and any other HR function or account specific initiatives.

  • Work closely with the Leadership team at the account to drive elements of the Talent Management Strategy (Talent Acquisition, On boarding, Performance Management, Development, Succession Planning and Retention)
  • Recruit and hire hourly employees for open positions within the district foodservice program
  • Conduct New Employee Orientation for all Aramark new hires
  • Manage the process and implementations of employee R&R, retention, turnover, staffing & recruitment, development of management
  • Manage school location staffing numbers by partnering with the account leader to analyze meal service patterns to determine the number of employees needed at a school
  • Update hourly employees weekly schedule in Kronos
  • Process Payroll for all Aramark employees at the school district account in Kronos
  • Process Payroll for all Aramark employees at the school district account in Kronos
  • Identify best practices and organizational efficiencies, coach and train line managers to properly apply HR policies and procedures
  • Drive the annual review process for both hourly and salaried positions at the account in adherence with HR timeline
Qualifications
  • Bachelor?s Degree
  • On-site position
  • Travel required within the school district (from office to a school location as needed)
  • Preferred experience within a hospitality or foodservice environment
  • The ability to manage in a fast-paced, diverse environment with focus on client and customer services and building and growing strong business relationships is essential
  • Knowledge of and experience with staffing high volume hourly staff is strong preferred
  • This position will report to the Human Resources Director for the Region with a dotted line to the account operations leader (most commonly a GM or DM)
  • Candidate must be willing to work in the school district and have some flexible hours including; early mornings and occasional nights for district events
  • Ability to travel within the school district and support other accounts when needed
