Shipping Supervisor

Major, well respected poultry processor is looking for a Shipping Supervisor for a plant in Eastern NC.

Responsibilities:  Individual will:\n

• Train, direct and develop hourly employees
\n
• Provide leadership in scheduling shipments to meet customer requirements
\n
• Define and implement new procedures to improve shipping efficiency
\n

\n 
\nRequirements:  Successful candidate will have:\n

\n
• 4 or more years of supervisory experience in shipping and warehousing of perishable items
\n
• Previous refrigerated shipping experience 
\n
• AA or BS degree desired but not required
\n

\nIn addition, individual should be familiar with HACCP, SPC and plant efficiencies as it relates to yield, lbs./birds pmh, line speeds and automatic process equipment.
