Fish Marking - Maupin (J639)

Located in Maupin, OR

Schedule: Monday–Saturday Swing Shift 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Compensation: $18.00/hour 

 

 A State-wide business is looking for laborers to assist with fish marking and tagging around the Irrigon, OR area, short term.

• Assist in the preservation and tagging of Rainbow trout. 
• Learn a new process and what goes on behind the scenes of Fish and Wildlife.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Injecting scientific identification micro tags onto fish fins
• Standing/sitting in a trailer while fish are moved through a pipe process to each workstation

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs to perform job duties
• Able to stand/sit for long periods of time
• Detail orientated, deliberate in work; accuracy
